Chantelle Cotton is an advocate for teens and young adults. She is the founder of both Nspyre… Inspiring People to Reach Their Dreams, Inc., and the Why Do I Say Yes? program where she teaches and coaches teens, college-aged girls and young women who are saying “yes” when they should be saying “no” to sexual activity. She provides instruction on self-esteem, self-love, and how to make better choices in life. Overcoming obstacles is never an easy task, especially when the obstacles include teen pregnancy, physical and verbal abuse: such were the obstacles that Ms. Cotton overcame in her life. She focuses on educating and improving the quality of life for young girls, and families with special emphasis on pregnancy prevention, abstinence and purity. She is now reaching out to others in an effort to help them avoid creating similar obstacles in their lives. She is the author of an upcoming book “Why Do I Say Yes….When I Should be Saying No?”

Ms. Cotton attained her Bachelor’s degree from Fort Valley State University, her Master’s of Business Administration from American Intercontinental University, and is a licensed insurance agent in the DC, Maryland & Virginia region. Ms. Cotton resides in the Virginia area and has a strong spiritual foundation. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, writing, spending time with friends and family and making a difference in the lives of others. Her favorite cookies are sugar cookies with icing on top.
